Aside from the dolls and those strange dreams going around, I think today was a pretty good day. There should be more hours in the day, though. I don't get to spend enough with the people I care about. I guess I'll have to make more time for them...or spend time with them more often. ♥

Everything inside is as secure as it's going to get. It's a good thing we started those repairs after the quaking. Things should hold up on the outside. If not, there are plenty of ablebodied men here to join me in volunteering sleep time for the shop and household's safety.

Now that that's out of the way...

I set up some palettes in the guest room. I don't remember how many people we have over tonight, but there's a chance we may get more. I'm not turning away anyone who comes to the door, not in this weather. It isn't much, but I hope it'll get you through the night... oh!

I'm also going to need volunteers, anyone presently in the building who doesn't mind sweating a little who can spare a moment of his or her time. It'll be worthwhile, promise! I'll pay, too, whether you work at the shop or not. If you work at the shop, you'll get a little bonus.
